Travel notes from a three month adventure across "the Vodka Belt" of Europe that includes: a few days acclimatising in Tokyo before traveling from Beijing to St Petersburg on the trans Mongolian rail (the Vodkatrain), visiting Santa under the northern lights in Lapland, finding my Grandma's village in Poland, hunting Dracula in Romania, floating around some hot baths in Budapest, eating my way through Germany to Berlin at Xmas, and heading home via London and NYC, in the company of my (current) friend Kat.

just you be careful: it's incredibly easy to enjoy the vodka en-route and wake up in a jail cell the next morning...
